As a background, the phrase "Si SE PUEDE" was the Cesar Chavez afirmation that "Yes, it can be done" when the struggle of the United Farm Workers Union was leading the strike in the fields of California. As today, this slogan is chanted in any struggle of the immigrant and latino communities.

So, any demand that reflects the needs of the community can be rounded up with the "si se puede" slogan from Cesar Chavez.
