There are two urgent tasks for this week:

1. Invite Day Laborers to the General Assembly or Asamblea General to take place next Saturday, Aug.27, at 2 PM in the AFL-CIO offices, 2600 Sutherland (I-45 S off Telephone and Wayside--behind the ADAME Bus Station. A representative of the National Day Labor Organizing Network will be there to facilitate the meeting.

2. Provide transportation to those attending the General Assembly from the corner to the meeting location.

If you want to be the contact between the Coalition and a Day Labor Site, please type in your name and phone number. We can also pair an English speaker with a Spanish-speaker if you want to participate, so do not let language be a barrier to this task.
