GREEN PARTY Volunteers come through again!!!

We would like to acknowledge and express our gratitude to the following volunteers for donating their time, which all totaled, easily exceeded 1000 hours.  Because of these volunteers, the Green presence was clearly a factor in the successes achieved by  first time candidates Ms. Jolanda Jones, Ms. Iris Williams, and Mr. Michael Gomez, with Ms. Alice Pradia running for the second time.

Their participation was also invaluable in reinforcing the reputation of the Harris County Green Party that it is a party on the rise in visibility and respect.  We are definitely building a party whose time has come...

Sheven Poole deserves a pat on the back for helping to coordinate, allowing her phone number to be posted on the world wide web, and generally being enthusiastic with slogans and exhortations to all.

Extra thanks also go to Gordon Anderson who volunteered to laise between the HCGP and the Jolanda Jones campaign, a campaign which narrowly missed the runoff for the City Council at-large position 3.

Lastly, but not at all in the least, we give special thanks and Hozannahs to Don Cook, who liaised between the GP and several campaigns, effectively managing the Iris Williams campaign and was simply the HarrisCounty Green Party super volunteer at-large (now if we can only get him to run for office...)

Have a Green Day……
