mentally ill
Panelists: Victor R. Scarano, M.D., J.D. - Chief, Forensic Psychiatry
Services - Baylor College of Medicine; James G. Rytting - Attorney for
James Colburn; Tina Duroy - Sister of James Colburn; Fabian Biasio-
Swiss photographer; David Atwood - Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death
Penalty
James Colburn, a man with serious mental illness, was executed by Texas
on March 26, 2003. Colburn's strongest advocate and supporter was his
sister, Tina Duroy. Fabian Biasio, a photographer from Switzerland,
documented Tina's life before and after her brother's execution.
