WHAT: Puppetista Organizing brief/Build for J20 and J22 actions WHERE:Bill Hicks Resurrection Laboratory, 2915 Delafield Rd
WHEN: Sunday, Jan. 2 at 2pm

This Sunday at the Bill Hicks Resurrection Laboratory, there will be a hands-on “build” where activists can learn how to make political puppets while contributing to the organizing efforts.

Before the build starts, we will have a brief organizing meeting (promply @ 2pm) and review of our story board. We will also review the action schedule for J20 and J22. We have a rich colorful story of hope, justice and rebellion to tell folks on January 20th and January 22nd and just need as many hands as possible to tell it.

This Sunday, 2 pm, at the Bill Hicks Resurrection Laboratory. To get to the Lab, go south on Old Spanish Trail, and pass MLK. Soon after the Produce Row underpass you will see Delafield. Turn right on Delafield and 2915 is about half-way down on the left.

Bring cardboard (bicycle and/or appliance boxes work best), latex paint (red/orange/yellow/black house paint), and brushes if you have 'em. Oh, and newspaper and brown grocery bags. Wear clothes that you can get dirty in. If you have any old mirrors you don't really need, we might could find a use for them, too.
