Results of the May 17 Harris County Green Party elections for delegates to Green Party of Texas state convention:

1. All 17 candidates approved for 17 available seats:
Christine Morshedi, George Reiter, Robert Wise, Phil Snyder, Alfred Molison, Sheven Poole, Don Cook, Joel West, Mary Margaret Williamson, Alma Diaz, Earl Gerhard, Nathalie Paravicini (demures for health reason), JosH Darr, Jerry C. Larson, Mark Waller, Art Browning, Charles Mauch.
Alternates, in order: Beverly Hayes, David Collins, Brian Howard.

2. Preferences for presidential candidate voting ended up with a larger than expected number of uncommited delegates, and we can all learn from the process. Most delegates will vote for David Cobb, and the second largest contingent is for no candidate. We have retained ALL paper ballots, so anyone interested can examine the results for themselves. [PUSH your county counters responsible for elections in November to DO THE SAME! A paper trail is essential!!]
