The Harris County Green Party has called for a protest against the destruction of Fallujah and its inhabitants. It will be from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm Friday, November 12, 2004, at the Mickey Leland Federal Building, 1900 Smith Street, downtown Houston, Texas.

“The attack on Fallujah has nothing to do with creating a democratic Iraq” said Earl Gerhard, co-chair of the Harris County Green Party. “The peopleof Fallujah have made it abundantly clear that they, along with 90% of the rest of the Iraqi population want the US out of their country. For this, in the calculus of the gangsters in power in our country, they must be
punished, and an example made of them.” The other co-chair of the party, Nathalie Paravicini, said, “We cannot stop the attack on Fallujah – but we cannot remain silent.”
